The Job
Managing a multi-disciplined team of engineering personnel on projects for oil and gas pipelines and associated facilities. Represent the company at meetings with clients in the UK and overseas maintaining projects and securing new business. You will manage the Midlands Office team to optimise performance and utilisation.
Undertaking visits and assignments in the UK and overseas, identify opportunities, negotiate and secure new consultancy and project work for the company worldwide.
Preparing business development proposals and bids for new works as well as proposals and budgets for projects and associated facilities, gathering information analysing technical and financial information. Planning and preparing front end and conceptual design studies and reports. You will have primary accountability for the financial consequences of decisions and actions for the control of manpower and cost targets.
The Candidate
Holding a relevant Engineering Degree, or equivalent have chartered status. You will also have professional expertise in design, project engineering management and consultancy in the oil and gas pipelines and associated facilities. With significant experience in man management of various disciplines, and be proven in technical self-sufficiency with an understanding of other disciplines. You must be computer literate have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, hold a valid UK driving licence. |
