Report to position: Head of Technical Affairs 

Company: 

A global pharmaceutical manufacturer and recognised R&D specialist are looking to recruit an Artworks Manager to be based out of their UK HQ in Hertfordshire 

Role: 

Whilst functionally reporting to the Head of Technical Affairs, , this job is responsible for the technical leadership, co-ordination and management of the artwork group operation based in Hertfordshire 

Day to day co-ordination of artwork group including performance management, KPI’s and metrics management. 

Providing guidance, facilitation and support to company operations, affiliates and TPO. 

Development of the capability of the artwork group through leadership, guidance and mentoring. 

Supporting operations at HQ. This activity includes the development and implementation of all the necessary systems and processes and equipment required to support a solid dose manufacturing and packaging operation. 

Management of the operational support provided to the Artwork Group, including change management, CAPA management, root cause analysis (RCA), complaint investigation and continuous improvement activities. 

Providing representation and guidance to International Project Teams for product introductions into the European Economic area. 

Ensuring the compliance of the artwork group activities with all statutory requirements and regulations. 

Qualifications and education required: 

Degree level education in a relevant discipline; either science or packaging/design based qualification would be acceptable depending on subsequent experience.
